The importance of soft skills in professional life

Presentation of professional/transferable/soft skills developed during doctoral training:time management, project management, team management, communication, how to negotiate with different stakeholders, how to organize successfully a fundraising campaign, how to develop a very valuable network, etc. etc.

Two Alumni PhD (University of Torino) with a very interesting postdoctoral career path (non-academic contexts) will be invited to share their case. In addition a recruiter will explain what companies are expecting from early career researchers.

At the end of our training session trainees will be (become) aware of their transferable skills developed during their doctoral training. They will also be able to develop/expand their professional network. They will meet online Alumni and Recruiters (from (innovative companies).
